21st Anniversary

Stephen and I were able to celebrate a lovely anniversary, just the two of us.  [The boys left to go on a Branson trip with Stephen's parents and the Cooper cousins.

It was a lovely night, thinking about our love and our time together; all the ups and downs, good times and rough times, all the plans made and plans changed, the things we've learned and the goals we still have together.  How, my love continues to grow!

To add to the great date, the sunset gave us a beautiful gift, as well.

Love this partner of mine, my Somebody.

Kyle's Last Day of School

So long to the 2020-2021 school year!  This wasn't not Kyle's favorite, thanks to some frustrating group projects, but he excelled at the bassoon, and found out in the last year of school that he made First Chair for next year.  I hope he has a great year next year.

Ryan's End of School

The 2020-2021 school year has been a weird one, and this Po's last in elementary school!
He finished on the year with a 5th grade lunch and party outside, a walk though the school, and a reverse parade, driving through the parking lot and wish all the grade's teachers so long.

Ryan made the A honor roll and academic awards.  It was fun to have Claire in his homeroom for the last year of elementary!

His best friends will hopefully stay close this summer and on the way to Middle School for next year!

As part of the 5th grade celebrations, parents were asked to send them off with end of year videos.  Here's ours.

I'm so glad Ryan had the chance to be at school face to face this year and graduate on to Griffin!

Evan's End of School Year

The end of the 20-21 school year came quickly.  The whole year was a big challenge, but this Meow right here rolled with the punches. He improved SO MUCH on his reading, made the AB honor roll, and was a great leader for good in his class.  I love how he has made so many friends and has grown up a lot this year.  Happy Summer, MEOW!

Evan scored on noodle soccer.

And, for the first day of the pool opening, cannon balls were in order

5th Grade Hawaiian Falls Party

Due to Covide, Ryan's 5th grade class was unable to do the normal thing for the traditional camp.
To make up for it, some moms got together and set up a party at a waterpark.
It had been raining cats and dogs all week and even that day, but the clouds opened up and gave us a good party!

Another Head Shaving

I tried to keep it this time; that didn't work.

Thankfully, Lori came over with some clippers.

Evan even wanted to help.

A few friends came for support.

Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am.

Mother's Day Weekend

For the weekend, we headed out on a short road trip to Houston to spend some time with Uncle Hubba and Aunt Rebecca and the boys.
We had fun with playing disc golf with the fam.

On Saturday, we surprised Timee by showing up at their house.
Sam a Carolyn were still there, so it was a party.  We had a crawfish bowl.  Ryan LOVED it.  Kyle did NOT.  I was in the middle.

I did enjoy coming up with a way to make a float with the  boys.  We wove together all the noodles and other floating things and made a raft. Here's this Huckleberry, setting off down the river.

I'm glad Stephen got to spend the day with his mom!

That night, we went back to Houston.  On Sunday morning, the boys made Rebecca and me the breakfast of our choices.  I had Orange Waffles, of course!

We headed home to find that my roses--even the one attacked by bunnies for 2 years, had bloomed!

What a great weekend!  I love being a mother.
