Fun on the Walk Home From School

 Our spring weather was so weird.  Hot one day, cold and rainy another.  We even had to rake up piles of leaves in March!  At least the kids got to jump into them, even if it was the wrong season. 

We have fun walking home with friends and spending a few minutes playing {so the moms can talk!}

And, when you have to pee before you make it home, well, that's what's great about being a boy.

When the spring weather started hitting, Star Wars was the thing. 

Soon, the cool weather will just turn into hot and humid, so we enjoyed all we could of the outdoors in spring, especially on the walks home from school. 

Kyle's Field Trip

 Kyle had a field trip planned MUCH earlier in the year which was rained out due to HEAVY storms.  Their trip to the Waco Children's Museum was rescheduled on a day when I couldn't go along, as previously planned.  However, his teacher and some other moms were great about sending me photos of the fun. 

Kyle loved it, and his favorite part was earning a lollipop for falling asleep on the way home! 

Easter Sunday

 I love my family all dressed up for Easter service at church! 

How grateful I am for my Savior!

Egg Hunt #3

 The boys were excited to do a backyard egg hunt, even thought they'd already been to two others in the weeks before.  I guess the idea of money is exciting. 

It had rained, so they were all prepared with rain boots.  

No sad faces after this hunt.  I think I went a little overboard!  I'm used to doing this hunt for my neighborhood, not just three boys.

 They already have plans on what to save for! 

Another fun Easter tradition in the books. 

Easter Morning

 The Easter Bunny was very generous this year.  The boys got new swimsuits, books, cereals, and a few of their favorite treats. 

Those lucky kids even won a basket of goodies from the drawing at the hair salon!  Plus, Mom and Dad got a few simple treats, as well. 

 Kyle LOOOOOVES tootsie rolls! 

None of the boys knew what Peeps were.

 The light saber bubble wands were a hit.

Spring Pictures

After the Easter Brunch, we checked off another must-do from our list: Wildflower photos!!!

The flowers were beautiful this year and quite early!

 We found a great spot out by the A&M health science building and another on the road by our neighborhood! 

The boys had to stop and see the cows.
