I love how the boys' teachers keep us updated on the great things going on at the school. Ryan's class has been learning about bodies and different organs. One day, Ryan insisted on wearing this "Halloween" shirt to school. I tried to tell him to wait at least until October before pulling out the skeletons, but he really wanted it. Turns out, they were learning about hearts, and Ryan was the perfect visual aid!!!
Here's the completed body!
The boys had a Boosterthon fundraiser. (Thanks to all who supported them!) They both did so well, running more than the 35 pledged laps.
Here's Ryan's class, and Ryan and some buddies, running in the glow run.
In Ryan's class, they also learned about counting with tally marks.....by becoming the tally marks!!!
All throughout September, the school celebrates color days in honor of Kindergarten. This one was from orange day...or maybe pink???
One of the cool things about living in College Station is all the opportunities Texas A&M provides. One such perk was getting to meet with a gold medaling winning Olympian and even holding a REAL gold medal!!! (That was Kyle's favorite part.) He was also impressed at all the sports she played. So cool that her coach is married to a teacher at their school, so she was able to coordinate such a cool guest.
I love our elementary school, and am grateful for all the great things the teachers are doing to help our boys.
