Summer of Blankets

These two brothers have spent hours and hours building blanket forts or stacking up blankets and pillows to create tall "beds" or using blankets to make "kitty homes."  Here they are, resting in one of their creations.  I love how well they play together most of the time.  

Back to Pilates

I went back to exercise group this week.  It was nice to be back with these girls, but not easy with my knee.  One week at a time!

Strike Out Cancer

This year I was able to go to our local baseball team's special game celebrating cancer patients.  Loved it!

Kyle's Birthday Party

Kyle's birthday party was great.  He wanted to go with a Harry Potter theme, and Aunt Emmy made amazing invites.  

Kyle was wishing for a birthday shirt, so the night before the party, I scrounged around and found scraps to create a Harry Potter shirt for him to wear.  

We decided to make a cake like the one Hagrid made Harry for his bday.  

Grand Station did a great job of helping us decorate.  All the guests got wands, HP glasses, Every Flavor Beans, and lightning tattoos.

The party goers wanted to do Lazer Tag (wizard duel) first.

Ryan couldn't wait for the bumper cars....."flying lessons."

The rest of the boys wanted to do mini-golf....."quidditch"

We all went back for pizza and cake.  And, a meeting with Choo-Choo.

The boys loved doing challenges with the every flavor beans.
