Leaving New Mexico

The weather the next day was perfect for the Living Desert Zoo + Gardens.  

We all loved this and enjoyed the time outside in the sun.  We made our way through the visitor's center, the desert animals section, and the desert plants area.

We actually got to see where the deer and the antelope play!  

Then, Stephen took us on a trip down memory lane of good old Hobbs, America.  

His first childhood home.  (Not counting the trailer.)

Big Cheese Pizza!

His second childhood home.

One of his favorite burrito places.  

And, then, we were back in Texas!
