40th Stuff

Who knew I'd make it this long, and looking so young?  (Ha)

A HUGE SURPRISE: My friends from decades and decades ago came in to help me celebrate..

We got pedicures, ate great food, decorated for my party, and laughed and enjoyed our reunion!

At the end of the party...ANOTHER surprise:  EMMY

After the party, another surprise????

And, then Chrystal had to get home.

There was more eating and more birthday singing!

Then, there was more eating and more celebrating with more friends!

Then, everyone else had to leave......

But, I'll leave with one last surprise.  A WOODWORKING GIRL'S NIGHT OUT!

This was a blast, and I made a great addition to my kitchen!

Mel Turns 40!

I'm forty and pretty freakin' great.  

(And, Save Ferris.  He's sick.)

First Day of School

We have a 2nd, 4th, & 6th grader, ready for school. (Mostly ready!)

I was able to walk the little boys to their classrooms. 

(There are major security changes around the school, so it's amazing that was allowed on the first day!)

I think it's going to be a good one!

*We were able to do our traditional cherry limeade pass out Friday morning, and the boys LOVED helping me pass them out.  We pulled in our wagon, full of large Sonic drinks and helped bring smiles to the end of the first week of school!
