Bob and Stephen had work stuff to do on Thursday, so Katie and I and the boys hung out. We made the trip out to Chick-fil-a.
Then, there was lots of Skylanders and Mario Brothers for the older boys during naptime and at-home pedicures for the girls.
When the baby boys woke up, we broke out the swimsuits and let them have at our backyard swimming pool.
When the guys got home, we picked up the babysitters and WENT OUT WITHOUT CHILDREN!
We took the Hellers out to Taste of Texas, hoping our guests would like it as much as we do. Bob, in typical "BOB" fashion, ordered The Tomahawk. It's a big, bone-in ribeye. He got to pick out his very own, and we even heard the trademark, "medium-rare, emphasis on the RARE."
We got to celebrate my birthday a little early this year, since I'll be in the hospital and on the DL for awhile.
I'm so glad our fellow Aggies were able to come for a visit. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

LOVED all these pictures!! What a fun few days... we had such a great time and will ALWAYS remember "the tomahawk!" Good luck tomorrow!
How fun! Glad you got a little bday celebration too, pre-surgery.
So funny!! I've heard that phrase, "emphasis on the rare" many times! I hope you're recovering well!!
