Meet the Teacher

 After many attempts to explain our special circumstances and not being able to attend the official Meet the Teacher OR the first day of school for this year, I was able to speak with the counselor at Kyle's school AND have a meeting with his teacher.  It was also suggested that I bring Kyle up and have an early day to meet with his teacher and let him see his classroom and the school.

On Monday afternoon, we met Mrs. Moon, took Kyle's school supplies into his new classroom, and filled out all the paperwork for Kindergarten.  I'm SO glad we were able to get this experience.  I think Kyle is going to have an AMAZING year.  We took up a little gift to show our appreciation for Mrs. Moon taking time out of her precious week before school starts---some lotion and some Hershey's Bliss candy.  Kyle drew her a picture of the new school and some kids in his class and we wrote on the card, "Here's to a blissfully smooth year."  {get it?}

Ryan is a little disappointed that he's "too tiny" to go to Kyle's school.  He was also sad about not having his picture taken.  Kyle, strangely, wanted a picture with me, so here we all are in Kyle's new classroom!
