Evan had high hopes for a fabulous valentines box. Mom had little time to make it happen. We compromised with a piƱata base to decorate and transform. It was a win. We even were able to install a bell by the slot, so the "taco love bell" box would ring when anyone put in a gift. It was a win!
It's weird to think that there is only one more year of Valentine's Day boxes.
I'm trying to cherish all the moments.
V-day was quite busy with lots of errands and trying to work out our insurance and prescriptions.
While waiting for the drugs, an older woman behind me started up a conversation. I was wearing my mermaid yoga pants that my sister gave me. This lady asked if I was a mermaid or a fish. We had a lovely chat which made the wait time diminish, but after I was helped at the counter and walking away, she gave me a final blow. When I told her to have a wonderful day, she responded, "Just remember you cannot gain another ounce and still be able to wear those pants."
Geez! That was mean.
Thankfully, Stephen and I had a lovely dinner plan, and I had fun getting dressed up.
My scarred body worth was mended when both the hostess and server gave me two thumbs up.
"You look very beautiful.
"You look hot!"
That wasn't necessary, but felt much better than the old lady calling me fat.
The best part of the day is to spend it with my love.
