My Birthday

 The 25th of August this year was nice, relaxed, and a fun day where I grew a year older and hung out with my family.  

The plant Lori got me LAST year IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!

The boys got me some beautiful flowers.  

I played the best game of cards of my life.  

I spent time out at the pool.  

More flowers from Stephen's parents showed up. 

I got some lovely gifts.  

I took a nice bath and Evan came to do facemarks with me.  The good kind of facemarks.  

What a wonderful day to claim that I'm another year older and wiser.  

Gym Videos

 Ryan has been working hard on some new skills for gymnastics.  His coaches sent me some new videos.

How excited we are to see how far this season takes him!  

Great Wolf Lodge

 For one last weekend of fun before school began again, we decided on one last weekend of water play.  Great Wolf Lodge was howling our names.  

How fun it was to get to have Grama Sue and Auntie Deb with us, too! 

Random Summer Things

Toward the end of the summer break, Evan and I played a lot of games.  

We set up an gigiantic Angry Birds game:

We picked lots of lemons from our tree and made limeade to go along with our delicious steak bowls.  

Finding a few unused frames, we made some rock art for Meow's wall.  [Ryan and Evan switched rooms, so there was some redecorating to do.  

We did some art and some practice writing.  

We saw a Daddy mini-me.

And and sweet, sweet baby boy.  

 

First Day of School

All of Frisco ISD started the 2020-2021 school year in the virtual world.  

All I can say about that is that I cannot wait for the REAL first day of school!
