Pinewood Derby

This year's Pinewood Derby, for me, as MUCH less stressful than last year.  We got the car done much more ahead of time.  We had the correct weight before the night of the race.  Stephen was able to make it.  I have Aunt Terri, who could take the younger boys home when the night dragged on.....and on......and on......., thanks to a late start + technical difficulties, to name a few time suckers.

Kyle had a car driven by the Dark Side.

He came in first in 2 of his races, but there was some tough competition this year.  I'm just so glad this event didn't end up in tears like last year.  And, I mean my tears.

Easter Part 2

Since I was in the hospital on actual Easter, so the Bunny decided to make a special stop at our house the next week.  

We also dressed up again, since I've had the outfits for 6 months and wanted some photos!

Surprise 40th

Stephen's actual 40th birthday was hell.  That's the day we had to leave San Antonio in a rush and end up in the hospital in the middle the night because of encephalitis.  Thankfully, I already had a big surprise party planned for the following weekend.  

Stephen knew we were going to Top Golf for a party, but didn't know that there would be many friends there to surprise him.  

Soccer Champs

Another soccer season is over!  The boys had a great time and love wearing their medals.

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch

As a fun way to spend our time in San Antonio, we made our way to this drive through safari.  Great time with some hungry animals!  

Lockhart BBQ

Half of the Boulters had to leave mid-week.  The other half headed to San Antonio.  But first, we had a stop in Lockhart to sample some BBQ goodness.  We split up and got a sample from 3 different places.  

We all agreed that the overall best was Black's, with Kreuz in a close second.  YUM!!!
