More Christmas!

After stockings, we ate and relaxed a bit.   Some people talked on the phone.  Some napped.

Kind of late in the day, we opened the last block, read the Christmas stories, and had a short testimony meeting...the first one the kids really participated in.

There were lots of legos and games + more money to use to save up for big ticket items.

Ryan was stoked to get the scarf and hat he asked for, as well as the Christmas pillows.

Evan was beyond excited for the Kylo Ren back pack and sleeping bag.

Kyle's lego dreams came true.

It was a wonderful Christmas, yet again!!!

And, I had chemo on the 27th, got sick, stayed in bed, and we went to bed early on New Year's Eve, since Stephen was on call.

2016 was a good one!!!

Stockings

The Cooper family usually does a secret stocking exchange on Christmas Eve.  This year, it was only our family + Grandpa and Grandma, and we were traveling on Christmas Eve, so we decided to break tradition and have stockings on Christmas Day.

The boys have been SOOOOOOO excited for this!!!  They love it, especially Kyle, who begged and begged to go shopping for the special items.

After church on Christmas, we went home, got back into pjs, and headed over to G & G's house.

We started opening stockings, youngest first.

He couldn't believe he got MOUNTAIN DEW!??!

Ryan loved his soft Wookie pjs.

The poop emoji cup was a winner for Kyle, as well as the TWO types of Kit Kats.

I had some great beauty items + these *winners.*

Evan LOVED this pooping gingerbread man, and Dad got another star wars cup!

Grandma had two great ways to remember Christmas: the Jesus candle + this awesome tree.

Grandpa LOVED the single serve rice bowls, black beans in a box, and a NEW sugar-free treat to try.

Then came guessing time:
I was the only one to get it right....Grandpa had me.

Evan had Dad.
Ryan had Grandpa.
Kyle had Grandma.
I had Kyle.
Stephen had Ryan.
Grandma had Evan.

Such a fun tradition!  I have especially enjoyed how excited the boys get to be GIVING for Christmas and not just GETTING.

Our Presents

After church, we came home to open the presents under our tree.  Disney was our big gift this year, so there weren't a ton of presents.  There were some great ones, though.

Some highlights: Ryan used his own money to pick out and buy both brothers a gift.  Kyle used his own money to get EVERYONE a gift!  There were much love shown between all.

We all got some cool t-shirts and Star Wars flip flops  (Kyle wears the same size as I do!!)

(Ryan was pleading that Kyle liked the gift he chose.)

Dad got an XBOX????  Awesome!

MONEY!!!!!!  (They were super-excited!)

It was a great day!!!!  I LOVED making memories for Christmas and getting less "stuff."
